Purpose of this blog

Personal missionary work as a coordinator for the college students who graduated from Institution Univers in Ouanaminthe, HAITI.

I act as a liaison for those currently in college and their sponsors, until the students have all graduated, whether in USA, Haiti or the Dominican Republic.
As well, I encourage those who have graduated from college but have not yet returned to Haiti, to return to fulfill the purpose of their education, for themselves, their families, their country and most importantly, for God.

Other than Haiti...A very important need right now...

My niece and nephew, Elise and Kyle Carey (remember Elise is my Team in Training Triathlon mate) are raising funds by running a marathon in December, for needed prosthetics for victims of the Ukrainian war.
Such a GOOD cause and I couldn't be more proud of both of them.

Please join me in supporting their efforts...PLEASE!

Please Click on the link below and follow the instructions. Thank you so so so much!

Jamescy Flereleau - seeing the finish line

Jamescy has been waiting to have his graduation ceremony since June 2022. Because of social unrest it was delayed. Additionally, the college is now requiring more funds from him to accomplish not only the ceremonial obligations but also a final thesis. All of these costs are close to $500. This is in addition to the medical costs he still has outstanding from this summer of $350 ($150 has been raised already).

Please prayerfully consider getting Jamescy over the finish line.

Please contact me as soon as possible if you can help with any amount.
I am so grateful for your partnership and caring of these Haitian students.
They need us, I feel, more now than ever to stand in the gap for them.
Thank you,
Marylee

Update on Jamescy's condition

I have heard from Jamescy. His operation was successful...the length of the operation was 3 hours and 45 minutes. After that he said he has slept and slept...the best thing he can do.

Praise be to God for this answered prayer. The operation cost was US$914 plus the US$200 already incurred for the preparation and consultation. Please, please contact me immediately if you can help with the costs incurred. And please keep praying for full recovery for Jamescy, Lord willing.

Thank you and Love,

Marylee

Urgent Request - Medical Need

 Hello Everyone,

I have an urgent request. Jamescy Flereleau needs to undergo surgery from his original injury sustained during the earthquake. Sadly, the re-erupted injury has caused infection and his organs are now infected.

The surgery is to take place today at 3:00pm. Please PRAY!

Secondly, he is without the means to cover the costs of the medical treatment thus far, the surgery and the follow-up. Because of the importance and urgency, the doctor is going ahead with taking care of Jamescy, but the hospital and doctor need to be paid. So far he is up to $200 in expenses, but more to come. Therefore, I'm trying to raise $1,000 at this time for his medical expenses, for now and for whatever else will be needed.

If you are able to contribute ANY amount, please contact me through message or comment.

Thank you very much.

In His Care,

Marylee

WITH URGENCY: Jamescy Flereleau is in need of a motorcycle

The burned gate at the entrance of the Flereleau family's home:

Jamescy and college-mates at the agricultural farm:

Because of a gang entering Ouanaminthe and burning Jamescy's neighborhood, Jamescy Flereleau's family home was ransacked and burned. One of the items ruined was Jamescy's motorcycle, which he had been using to go to Limbé for his college education, as well as using it for his agricultural internship. Now without a motorcycle, he has had to rely heavily on public transportation and others to go out to the countryside, which is very unstable and unreliable.

Will you please prayerfully consider donating towards the purchase of a new motorcycle for Jamescy? With wire fees and taxes included we need to raise $950. If you are able to donate, you may receive a tax deduction if you donate through my ministry accountability organization, Allegro Organizational Solutions. Once all the funds necessary have been donated, I will wire the funds to Jamescy to purchase the motorcycle. This is the most secure way to get the money to him.

Here are the donation instructions for Jamescy's motorcycle:
